We have provided Middlewick with several websites over the years to reflect the changes in technology and their services. Recently we redesigned the website to provide a photography-led solution that would be able to easily to manage in-house. We designed and coded each row so that Middlewick could create new pages on the fly simply by adding in the sections they need one after another.
It was important for the client to be able to not only be able to update text and images really easily, but also to add new sections to existing pages and to add completely new pages without coming back to us. b:web has produced a new web design system that we call b:Modular for exactly this reason.
b:Modular is a collection of web design modules that can be mixed and matched and easily combined to create all of the web pages required for your website. Middlewick’s b:Modular web design was completely bespoke to them and not just in terms of the branding and colours – it includes many of the features of our bespoke web design builds including some layouts and design concepts unique to them.
The result is a stunning new website that will work across all devices and will be found easily on Google searches.
The new websites is an effective, efficient website that caters perfectly to the target audience and has already proven itself in terms of generating both interest in the brand and new business. There is a vast amount of information to provide for holidaymakers, from facilities at each individual cottage, to local places of interest, and the integration of an external availability and booking system. b:web developed a design that displays all of that information in an attractive and easy-to-navigate website.
Combined with the client’s beautiful photography of the area, the result is an attractive website that is flexible enough to grow with the company over the next few years.
