Chartahouse is a firm of Licensed Conveyancers (Property Lawyers) based in Plymouth, Devon.
They enlisted our help to redesign their out-of-date site and build a completely new one. The new site needed to be friendy and approachable to ensure that even the most reticent customers would feel welcome and reassured when they arrived on it.
It was important for the client to convey all their different services and explain them in easy-to-understand language. The site needed to be clean and modern but maintain the client’s red and blue colours along with their existing logo.
We decided to major on family-friendly imagery which depicted the age and type of customer that the Chartahouse was targeting. We sourced all of the images and used them predominantly throughout the website.
We used a simple layout to make the browsing process really easy for the customer and pulled out important elements by highlighting them in blue or red depending on their function.
Within the WordPress site we incorporated a very easy-to-use content management system which enables even untrained staff to make changes quickly and easily.
