Caroline Arthur is a luxury wedding gown designer and bridal dressmaker specialising in creating bridal dresses custom-made for delighted brides. They are a small, dedicated team of designers with over 16 years of experience in making gowns.
Over the past 12 years or so we have provide Caroline Arthur with 4/5 different website to reflect the changes in technology. Recently we redesigned the website to provide a visually stunning, photography led solution that Caroline Arthur would be able to easily update and manage in house. We designed and coded each section row by row so that Caroline and her team could create new pages on the fly simply by adding in the sections they needed one after another.
It was important for the client to be able to not only be able to update text and images really easily, but also to add new sections to existing pages and to add completely new pages without coming back to us. b:web have produced a new web design system that we call b:Modular for exactly this reason.
b:Modular is a collection of web design modules that can be mixed and matched and easily combined to create all of the web pages required for your website.
One of the bespoke parts of the website is a web app that enables the user to create the look of their wedding dress by mixing and matching the bodice and skirt and adding different straps and accessories to create a basic design to give Caroline’s team a base from which to work from.
